Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center Co., Ltd.

Driven by the national innovation-driven development strategy, the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the People's Government of Liyang City, Jiangsu Province reached a cooperation intention in 2017 to start the industrialization of advanced clean energy and intelligent equipment technologies. In 2018, a sci-tech Innovation enterprise, namely Yangtze River Delta Physics Research Center Co., Ltd. (IOPLY), was jointly founded by the two sides to meet China's demand for cutting-edge technologies in new energy and power and major strategic needs. Relying on collaborative innovation among enterprises, universities and research institutes, it targets the research and development of frontier technologies and the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Under IOPLY's cooperation with universities, research institutes and excellent enterprises, a batch of high-level research institutes, innovative technology platforms and scientist labs have been established and innovative R&D systems and technical alliances formed. It is committed to forging sustainable international competitiveness in frontier science, new energy and high-end manufacturing, while vigorously promoting science and technology exchanges, science-education integration and science communication activities, with an aim to build a world-renowned science and technology innovation and academic exchange base.
